Material
Cow Leather
Leather is a natural material made from animal hides that have been preserved and softened through a tanning process. We select our leathers based on their properties and the intended application.
Maker
These leather pieces are handmade in India by family owned and operated company Malhotra Leather Exports. The factory was established in 1954 when they began trading and exporting leather and leather products. It is very much a family run business with many members of the family involved in each aspect of their operation. We visit their workshops twice a year to discuss our designs and see our goods being made, and we have an ELK representative on the ground working with them on transparency, quality and operational standards.

Care Instructions
To maintain the beauty of your ELK bag we recommend protective sprays and using a good quality leather conditioner to treat the product, which will increase its longevity. Do not put leather pieces on the ground or rub against abrasive surfaces. Leather is a natural material and will wear with age and use.
